Reviews: The Fall (6)
“Masterpiece of a Novella!”
(Hardback)
In "The Fall" Cahil masterfully intertwines the four storylines and character arcs in one tiny novella, how the hell is that possible?
To create such and engaging cast and epic tale with so few pages.
Alvira, Kallinvar, Coren & Eltoar all felt unique in a beautifully created world.
Following on from stories and hints in Of Blood and Fire, it was amazing to see the fall of the order and the fate of the dragons of the past with our own eyes.
“Wow!”
(Hardback)
This man is a blessing to epic fantasy. In a few pages he has delivered more action, character depth and world building that has taken other authors an entire book to try and deliver. I cannot wait to continue this series. Ryan Cahill is proving himself to be an absolute master of the genre.
“This is how you write a novella”
(Hardback)
I don't think I have ever read a novella this full of emotion and character depth! Ryan Cahill fleshed out his characters masterfully in such little time - a very hard task to achieve. I am really impressed with his works. When I read 'Of Blood and Fire' I could not believe it was his debut. On his talk with Shauna Lawless, Ryan said that he improved as a writer throughout the series, cannot wait to see how the story and his writing progresses, as it is already perfect to me.
“Breathtaking”
(Hardback)
This was an incredible novella! It's non-stop action from the first page, and yet Cahill still manages to give us fully realised characters who I cared for even in the short time I spent with them.
Set centuries before the events of Blood and Fire, this follows the fall of Ilnaen through multiple POV's. If you've already read the first book of the Bound and the Broken then I can guarantee you'll love this, and if you've been wondering whether to start this series this is a perfect introduction to the world! This is a new favourite series for me and I think it's perfect for everyone who's a fan of classic fantasy.
“An Amazing Taste of Fantasy”
(Hardback)
The Fall is an amazing little taste of The Bound and the Broken world, and I can't wait to delve into the series with the first book.
The tale of how The Order falls, told through 4 POVs giving you great world lore, amazing characters and an itch to know more.
Thank you to the publisher for this ARC.
