I was browsing along the bookshelf at home when I noticed this book. I took it off the shelf, started reading and could not put it down. I read slowly so I do not waste time on books that are less than good. This book is much more than good. It surprised me, moved me and amused me. I shall read more books by R K Narayan. I recommend this one to you without reservation.
