I bought the book after a visit to Winchester, where I found a small section of the Navigation. Although published in 2011, it is mostly a reprint of the 1983 edition, with monchrome pictures, but with the addition of some more recent colour pictures as a supplement, and a brief introduction on what has happened since 1983. Some of the original pictures are not very clear, but overall it is a delightful book, covering the history and route of a navigation that has been defunct since 1869, but is still quite visible in the landscape.
