In the third book of the series, Detective Chief Inspector Jack Logan leads an investigation into the brutal murder of a nurse on her way home from the nightshift. But when more victims are discovered, it becomes a race against time to put an end to the killing spree and capture the psychopath responsible. I'm really enjoying this series and book three with its twisty fast-paced plot didn't disappoint. It was an exciting tension-filled read. The main characters are fully developed, believable and likeable. The banter between them at times is hilarious; counterbalancing the more gruesome aspects of the investigation nicely. A very enjoyable read and a series I look forward to continuing.
