Reviews: The Maths Book (1)
“History of Maths”
(Hardback)
After enjoying reading the Physics Book, as it helped me understand some of the terms I have been studying, I decided to try the Maths Book.
First things first, this is not a book for teaching maths but more of the history of maths and how maths has developed through the centuries. I can't say I fully understand all of the theory's and hypothesis, but do I enjoy learning the different methods discussed and how these are used today. You will also learn about the famous mathematicians who developed some of the techniques we use today.
I can't say I enjoyed the book as much as the physics version but would be a good read for anyone who is fascinated by the world of mathematics.
