In this ridiculously entertaining book, Michael Palin allows us complete access to his past as he documents with grace and constant humour, his rise from aspiring writer to the towering figure of off the chain comedy greatness he is regarded as today. This diary chronicles the rise of the Pythons from 1969 to 1979 and in my opinion is one of the finest memoirs available today.
