A truly delightful novel that although the story has a dark side Bob Mortimers writing makes it a heartwarming read. The characters are totally absorbing and I thoroughly enjoyed the story not wanting it to end

An incredibly funny and compelling read from start to finish. Very ‘Bob Mortimer’ in terms of the humour yet suspense is built throughout alongside a lovely story of friendship and love that makes it just perfect. Cant wait for his second book to be released if this is anything to go by

The book is full of classic Mortimer-isms, hilarious scenarios and even a perfect hidden mystery - I’m not much of an avid reader but worked my way through it in one night. Could not recommend highly enough.

I thoroughly enjoyed Bob’s autobiography and this novel didn’t disappoint. Hints of his own past mixed with fiction made for a great read. I thoroughly recommend this.
