Total Control is a standalone thriller written by David Baldacci and was first released in Britian in 1997. Total Control is like a history of the world before the internet arrived, some people will not recognise this world many others will. Jason Archer is copying the old back up tapes and paper records of Tritan Global so that they are ready for a company they are about to take over can examine them. He needs to get the work done before he takes off for LA the following morning. He is looking forward to seeing his wife, Sidney and talk to her but he cannot tell her the truth just yet. The following day the plane never arrives in LA, but Jason Archer is lying in a farmer’s field. When Lee Sawyer arrives at the crash site the veteran FBI agent does not like what he sees before him. As the investigation begins, he is first led one way only to find that it might be part of a bigger plan. The more Singer digs the more he finds that there is certainly a love of money and billions of it, going on. The more he digs the more it screams that someone is making lots of money. This is a thriller which will capture the imagination of the reader.
