This is definitely not my usual genre. But I bought this book anyways. And I'm so glad I did. I literally could put this book down and read it in a day. It just captured me so much. This book starts of with an explosion and just keeps the tension up. There are so many books where the tension just drops down and you have to get through boring parts to get to the next tension. But this book is different, you never get boring parts as the tension is always up, it just varies on the intensity of the tension. I would compare it to going full speed on a motorway without using breaks just having hills to change the speed.

Easy read thriller. Twists and turns throughout and you know there will be a follow up. Recommended.

This is a good fast paced thriller that pulls together the modern fears of terrorism and how this can be used by militant groups to turn the general populase against the wrong community groups. This has an explosive (literally) start but then eases off a little as the story and characters are introduced and established. However it does pick up quickly and you find yourself pulled along rapidly as the story reaches its finale and the stacks get ever higher for all those involved. Whilst the story is new and relevent the characters are very much what you would expect from a crime thriller of this type and of course there is all of the usual double and triple crosses to keep things interesting. Overall this is isn't a ground-breaking book but it is very enjoyable and does give you grounds for thinking twice before assuming those news reports are right.
