This book gives af fine survey of robots standing today and I think it is a good thing that "robot" is understood very broad. Each of the selected "robots" is described well in a couple of pages of text and with two illustrations: a photo and a simplified "technical drawing" highligthening some of the features. The idea in this is all right, the photos are fine but the "technical drawings" are really too bad. I think they are ugly and they tell almost nothing about the robot considered. The illustrator may have enjoyed to play with a primitive drawing app but the result is absolutely terrible. But apart from that: a fine book.
