it was good story and enjoyed resading it.she is a very imaginative author and have read many of her books.

The first time I read this book I had to genuinely question how I could enjoy a book with so few likeable characters, to call the main protagonist a monster would not be overstating it, and she doesn’t stand alone. Much like Gone with the Wind you are pulled along almost against your will to witness the terrible behaviour of a women trapped in a time where everything is stacked against her. The skill of the author is that you root for her, time and again you hope for her even though you know her secrets and crimes. That’s the genius of Philippa Gregory and this book is her at her very best, this book deserves to become a classic, dark brooding and unforgettable.
