Reviews: Wild Hunger (2)
“The Perfect Match!”
(Paperback)
by Rita Slayton
Trick and Frankie could not have been more perfect for one another. Trick was a surprising character since I wasn't sure about him before. He showed himself to be strong, loyal, and fierce in this book. While Frankie, who had grown up with humans most of her life, showed that she too was just as fierce. She was determined from the get go to find out what happened to her parents and find her place. Trick was just as determined to not only help her get the answers she needed but show her just how special true mates can be.
“A Series Still Going strong”
(Paperback)
by Somia Bibi
This may be the 7th in the series but Wright is still going strong, each book can be read as a standalone but once you've read one you'll read the rest. The blurb had me a tad hesitant to read as I didn't like the sound of Frankie - but boy was I wrong and so is the blurb - she's strong, and her 'fragile state' is not so fragile, yes she's going through a tough and emotionally crazy time but her strength is clear, as is Trick's need to be there for her but not overwhelm her as she deals with secrets, her past, and family conflict. Frankie may look delicate and innocent but love her snark and strong personality, same with Trick he may be an enforcer and not an alpha but he is all alpha male - the type you cannot help but love. Downloaded this as soon as it became available via kindle unlimited and do not regret the night of no sleep as I read until the end.
