This felt like a pretty average book to me. Ok characters, and a predictable storyline. It read to me, like some of the older books from the 70s or 80s for some reason. I liked the integration of a poison entity in another world was damaging not only it's world but the earth, that gave it an interesting feel. But overall this book was a bit 'meh' to me. nothing super exciting, but it wasn't exactly dull either. Just average.
