“Wounded”
(Paperback)
by Emma Hatherley
A warmly written, heartfelt book which deals thought-provokingly with the sensitive issues of racism and homophobia. Hankies at the ready, as the moving story tears at your soul and makes you wonder at the unjust and sometimes cruel world that we live in. Nevertheless, an engrossing tale which I found hard to put down. It takes you through life with a horse whisperer and those around him, dealing with the hardships he faces with courage and determination. Some love and a dash of humour make this a gripping read not to be missed. I'm off to check out his other books!
“Modern Brokeback.”

I really loved this book. The humour was great, the characters were engaging, especially John, and it packed a lot of important messages within the short plot. Definitely recommend!
