Bookseller Positions
Location: Foyles, Charing Cross Road Hours: Full-time - 37.5hrs/week including frequent evening and weekend work Pay: £14.04
There are two bookseller positions available, one for a bookseller with general book interest, and another for a bookseller with interest in the arts and biographies (knowledge of classical music in particular is preferred).
Both roles are an ideal opportunity for anyone who has an interest in all aspects of retail and bookselling to further their experience and knowledge in one of the world’s greatest bookshops. Regular tasks will include:
• Excellent customer service • Book and gifting recommendations • Shelving and creating displays • Visual Merchandising • Working with our non-book stock • Handling Deliveries
As an ideal candidate you will be able to demonstrate exceptional customer service skills, be highly motivated, energetic and able to communicate your passion for books to our hugely diverse range of customers. You will also be a team player who is reliable and punctual.
